We checked into a room for a night in Madikeri... climates slightly cooler than downtown Mysore. The largest Town in Kodagu, its perched on the top of a hill overlooking the coffee plantations... The views from these hills are amazing.... The Sunset is a must and you can watch from many viewing spots dotted around....We check out a spot the locals recommend... Its up a mad thin 90 degree dirt track... but Austins ickle van is like a Tonka toy on steroids...once the palpitations have settled we sit and watch in ore...
After the eye candy we headed downtown and downed a few shots of Rum in the local bar... served by a guy with more scars on his face than Freddy Krugger... The locals pass through buying bottles of the local potions...
wow... a multicultural wild west town.... Like Smethick ... but with palm trees...
The Morning After..... Jeeee's.... we both got bangin heads this morning... we put it down to altitude sickness & aclimitisation... and definatly not the Rum....
After a few coffees we head to Austins Relatives house for breakfast...
