So...
with Rob still finding a cure... (im sure the light at the end of the tunnel is close my fellow friend) Im left to modge about town.. what a fantastic place... Mysore, Karnataka, India...first time here for me but i will sure return... the freshest food you can imagine...the cultures, the colours, the cows, co habiting in harmony... The markets in mysore town are amazing... fruit and veg from a jurasic period? erm no... just fruit and veg the way it is was....! well before the dawn of Tescos..I did take my camera to do some pictures but left my battery at the pad on charge... but on reflection Im not really here to shoot tourist interests... and although its an incredible sight.. you need to be there to get it....live it ...breath it......
I was due to go to Mangalore this weekend and Udupi about 300km north on the coast... but this weekends events which involved extreme Hindus going into clubs and kicking S*** out of everyone...targets including couples on Valentine dates and westerners... has delayed my excursion...
As much as I would like to try out my new found skills in Keralas ancient martial art Kalarippayattu... thought best get some more training just in case I need to kick ass... so now due to go this friday...Will be meeting up with our local guide Austin for some Surf Sea & Sand...
No plans for any trips this week... bit of a health care week goin on....fruit only diets..... dentist tomorrow...Robs just gone to his appointment today... quality of work & service here is first class... and a fraction of the cost back home in blighty... plenty of other things here locally to do... so just going to chill about Goklum... buss some coconuts... grab a paneer Manchurian and go wi da flow... peace xxx
